Meet Lotta
Nutrition played an influential role in my own recovery from depression, migraines, seizures, disordered eating, and metabolic conditions, including high cholesterol and prediabetes. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate medical diagnoses and the overwhelming amount of conflicting nutrition advice online. Health anxiety is real!
My experience led me to change careers to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specialized in mental and metabolic health. I received a Master of Science degree in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity at the University of Southern California, and completed over 1000 hours of internships in clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, corporate wellness, culinary medicine, and nutrition for longevity. I also received additional training through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
I’ve worked with hundreds of clients as a nutrition counselor, educator, and health coach at mental health and substance use treatment facilities throughout Los Angeles. I’ve also provided personalized counseling to professional athletes and individuals looking to optimize their health and body composition.
I enjoy helping adults develop practical skills around meal planning, cooking, and food shopping while encouraging mindfulness practices and self-compassion. In my practice, I take a holistic approach that incorporates evidence-based functional nutrition principles and client preferences to provide realistic, sustainable solutions that honor mind, body, and spirit.
